Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy Fantasy drama The Magicians (2015-present). The actress gained recognition because of her performance as a character in Towelhead playing Jasira Marroun an American-Lebanese teenager aged 13 who's thrown into chaos by the U.S. military invasion of Iraq. In the following year she was voted among Variety's 10 Actors to watch. She played another powerful character Taslima Jahangir in 2009's crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Leading Actress category. Apart from Lucky 7, she also appeared onscreen in a variety of films including the film Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
